Mya Deah writes an Agatha Christie inspired mystery/comedy, and a play. And Then There Was Manna is a Passover program on a secluded island. Santiago Scarlett is running it into the graveyard. The seder is hilarious, and it is deadly. Still Life is the play: women of a certain age venture into a new business, only to discover what they are capable of.

Marla Fenwick writes about the hour between the school bus and the headlights. The Latchkey Hour is a novel, not a reunion. A key on a shoelace. The television for company. The rule was not to answer the phone unless it was a parent, and the parent was late, and the child decided what late meant.

Denise Pell’s novel We Kept the Receipts is about a marriage that filed itself. She can find the slip for the answering machine and the coupon for the coat. She cannot find the sentence for the year the mall job was the real income. The accordion file is complete. The tab on the folder is missing.
