We were raised on Watergate, MTV, and the suspicion that the adults were lying. We grew up anyway. We have things to say.
GenX Press exists for a forgotten generation — the one sandwiched between Boomers who wouldn’t leave and Millennials they were too busy worrying about. We were latchkey kids who became adults without anyone noticing. Especially us.
Our books are for readers who remember a world before everything was optimized, surveilled, and content-marketed. Who understand irony without a disclaimer. Who are somewhere in the middle of their lives, writing their own second acts.
Raised on mixtapes, skepticism, and being told to figure it out ourselves, Generation X developed a distinctive voice. We exist to amplify it. Not because our authors write about being Gen X, but because every page bears the imprint of lives fully lived. These are stories written after the lesson, not before it.
We are not a trend. We are a generation. We have stories to tell.
